Position: Caregiver (12-32 hours weekly)
Location: Kansas City/Harrisonville/Belton/Raymore
A Caregiver, or Personal Care Aide, supports patients with difficulties, including, geriatrics, people with disabilities or patients suffering from mental disorders. They will also provide assistance with completing daily, basic tasks. Primary duties include assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, grooming & more.

Q: I am currently caring for someone with Medicaid or VA Benefits?
A: No problem. You are more than welcome to transfer your services to Golden Life In Home Services.

Q: What are my payment options for home care services?
A: For Private Pay we accept cash, check and long-term care insurance. Medicaid and VA insurance is accepted.

Q: Can I choose my own Caregiver?
A: Clients are 100% able to choose their own caregiver. If you have a family member or friend you trust, you can appoint them as your caregiver or we can appoint one for you. (Exlusions apply for Medicaid clients. Immediate family such as Spouse, Children, Siblings are ineligible to be your caregiver.) Call us at (816) 336-1593 for more information.
Q: We have a Hospice Nurse, can you still help us?
A: Yes. This is very common, and our services are an excellent complement to the clinical care provided by home health or hospice agencies. We consider them to be partners who help ensure that your loved one is receiving the best care possible.

Q: What services do you offer?
A: We offer non-medical home care services, including: Alzheimer’s/dementia care, meal preparation and assistance with eating, light housekeeping, errands and transportation, medication reminders, personal care including bathing, help going to the bathroom, dressing, etc., anywhere from 4 or more hours per day. Q: What are the steps to start receiving service?
A: The first step is to call us at (816) 336-1593. If you have Medicaid and already receiving service, you will want to reach out to Medicaid Participant transfer at (866) 835-3505. The next steps will be for us to arrange an in-home assessment and establish a care plan. Once that evaluation is complete, we will assign you a caregiver and set a start date to begin services. We will conduct ongoing evaluations based on your circumstances moving forward. This is to ensure your care plan is always up to date based on your needs.
